Wildfires in California have 29 Texas fire departments headed to the west coast this week to help battle the worst wildfire outbreak in history.

KXXV shared the news of the deployment of 100 Texas firefighters along with the activation of the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System for wildfire suppression. California. The unbelievable fire in the video above has California asking for help from Texas A&M Forest Service who will send 25 engines and 5 teams to aid in the Mendocino Complexe Fire, which has become the largest fire in the state's history.

The transports loaded up and hit the road late Monday to make the 2 day trip to the coast. They will begin assisting the fire teams in place by Thursday morning this week. Our thoughts and prayers are will all Texans who have answered the call to help their countrymen.
