KWTX's Ke'Sha Lopez reports that an 18 wheeler went up in flames in a construction site in Robinson Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported to fire crews just before noon, and occurred at the 600 block of Perry Lane in the Hunton Estates subdivision.

The driver of the 18 wheeler told authorities at the scene he was attempting to turn the big rig around to leave the yard. The driver looked and saw the fire on the back of the vehicle. He attempted to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher but failed.

The driver saved a forklift that was on the flatbed trailer of the truck, but the trailer and rig were heavily damaged from the inferno. No one was injured in the fire.
