HOUSTON (AP) — Three more white supremacist members face up to life in prison after pleading guilty in a sweeping racketeering investigation in Texas.

Three dozen members of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas were indicted a year ago. Federal prosecutors in Houston on Thursday announced the latest pleas bring to 18 the number of people to plead guilty.

Sammy Keith Shipman of Houston pleaded guilty Thursday to participating in racketeering activity. William David Maynard of Houston and Dustin Lee Harris of Dallas pleaded guilty earlier this week to conspiracy to participate in racketeering activity.

All three face sentencing early next year.

Investigators say Shipman, Maynard, Harris and other gang members and associates agreed to commit multiple acts of murder, robbery, arson, kidnapping and drug trafficking.
