So all you little boys out there, would you hit a girl if a stranger asked you to?

Italian video journalist, Luca Lavarone, who works for “Fanpage,” conducted the social experiment with boys ranging from 6 to 11 years old in Italy. Lavarone introduced them to a young girl named Martina. He asked the boys to say what they like about her, and they responded with a list of compliments.  He then asked them to make a funny face at her. They did so.
But when the boys were asked to slap Martina, they were pretty shocked and refused. When asked why not they answered with things like,  “Because you’re not supposed to hit girls,” “I don’t want to hurt her,” “Because I’m against violence.” One even added, “As the saying goes, ‘Girls shouldn’t be hit, not even with a flower.”

Oh, if only older boys and men took that advice.

Does this prove that violence against women is learned?  Or does it prove that even little boys are not stupid enough to hit somebody with a camera rolling?
