Killeen police need the public’s help to identify a woman suspected of cashing forged checks with a fake account number.

A representative of First National Bank contacted police in December after discovering that two forged checks had passed through their system in August. Detectives released a surveillance camera still of the suspect on Wednesday.

Detectives are asking anyone who can identify the woman or may have information about the crime to reach out to Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS (8477) or online at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com. Information can also be shared via text message at 274637. All tips are confidential, and contributors may remain anonymous. Any tip leading to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
