Killeen Police Asking for Public’s Help to Identify Forgery Suspect

Police are asking for your help to identify a man suspected of depositing fraudulent checks and going on a shopping spree.

Detectives say the man in the photograph deposited fake checks at an ATM in Harker Heights on May 18 and 19. He then used the funds at the Killeen Walmart and various other stores in Harker Heights and Dallas.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477 or online at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com. Informatin can also be submitted via text along with the word BELLCO to 274637.  Information is anonymous and confidential, and a tip resulting in the arrest of the suspects involved in the shooting could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
