A Killeen man accused of firing into the air and causing a panic outside an Austin music venue in March was arrested this week after reportedly leading Killeen police on a car chase.

According to the Killeen Daily Herald, 22-year-old Rondarius Taron Spicer was arrested Tuesday after allegedly running a red light near the intersection of Gilmer Street and Veteran's Memorial Boulevard, then trying to evade a police cruiser.

Police say Spicer made several turns and ran stop signs after police activated lights and sirens and made it clear that they were pursuing him. According to an arrest affidavit, Spicer nearly collided with another vehicle as he sped from police.

Spicer was arraigned Wednesday on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle. He bonded out of jail Wednesday.

Spicer also faces a charge of deadly conduct by discharging a firearm after a March 20 incident in which he allegedly fired a gun into the air outside of Austin's Old School Bar & Grill, where a crowd was gathered to hear a South-by-Southwest music performance.
