Killeen police are searching for a man they believe was involved in a shooting at a Killeen shopping center that left two men dead Sunday afternoon.

Investigators say 27-year-old Keyante Lermont Kelly drove one of the gunmen away from the scene before leaving the man’s body in the getaway car on North 18th St. The Bell County District Attorney’s Office has issued a warrant for his arrest, charging him with Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence – a third degree felony.

29-year-old Cortney Turrell Guy and 28-year-old Atrayu Ramal Davis reportedly got into an altercation at Eastlake Shopping Center, 3301 East Rancier, shortly before 4:48 PM Sunday.

Police say the two exchanged gunfire in the parking lot, after which Davis got into a car driven by Kelly and left the scene.

Police responding to reports of shots fired discovered Guy’s body in the shopping center parking lot at 4:48PM. He was pronounced dead at 5:23 PM.

A 4:54 PM, police were notified of a shooting victim in a car parked on North 18th Street matching the description of the vehicle in which Davis left the scene of the shooting. Davis’ body was discovered in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at 5:38 PM.
