Video Shows Temple Police Officer Buying Pretzels for Kids

It's not all doom and gloom out there, as evidenced by this video of a Temple police officer buying snacks for some very happy kids!

In the short video, the officer is seen handing a group of children a treat from Auntie Anne's Pretzels in the Temple Mall.

Rosemary Mendoza of Oscar posted the video to Facebook on Friday, July 29. Since then, it's had over 9,000 views and been shared over 150 times.

In a time when it seems as if police get nothing but bad press, it's great to see that all the negativity isn't stopping our local officers from being decent people and making a positive impact on the community.
