A Marion County woman and her son were lifted out of their home last Saturday night by an EF-2 tornado while they were in the bathtub taking shelter. Bonus: they lived to tell the tale.

KYTX-TV reported that the 75-year-old woman was watching T.V. with her son when he saw the twister outside the window. He told his mom to get into the bathtub right away.

They said everything happened fast after that, and they found themselves in their back yard.

"We heard a boom,” she said. “We were laying in the bathtub in the bathroom, and we heard a boom. Then when we woke up, we were in the yard."

Ms. Williams says she's still in shock that she's still alive to share her story, and that she's still stiff from the landing.

Gray Volunteer Fire Deparrment Captain, Nancy Rogers, said that at least 15 homes were destroyed, and the fact that no one was killed is a miracle.
