Texas Parks App is Perfect for Outdoor Enthusiasts and Families

Don't let the spring and summer of 2017 get away before you have had a chance to get out and enjoy Texas!

The new app from Texas Parks and Wildlife is available to download for free and contains an excellent amount of information about all 95 State parks!

This app makes planning a trip super easy, as you can find parks to visit based on what you're looking for. The app sorts out parks that offer fishing, camping, boat ramps, showers, and tons more amenities. Once you select a park to visit, the app also offers specific navigation to the one you've selected. It also lists the hours of operation, as well as any costs associated with visiting the parks.

The app also informs visitors of any weather related issues that could affect their visit such as burn bans or park closings. Maps and event happenings are specific for each park on the app. Very cool!
