MGC Pure Chemicals America Announces Plans To Open Plant In Killeen

The Killeen Economic Development Corporation announced Wednesday that MGC Pure Chemicals America has selected Killeen as their next site location for a manufacturing plant that will service the semiconductor industry.

The company will occupy a 28-acre site that will create 28 new jobs over five years with the average annual salary at $66,600. Killeen beat out San Antonio, Bryan/College Station, and Louisiana to be the company's next site location. The facility will be housed in the Killeen Business Park, and MGC plans to start production of super-pure hydrogen peroxide in 2019.
