23-year-old William Hansen was arraigned Monday on a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after witnesses say he hit a man with a pool cue last Friday.

The alleged assault took place in a business in Harker Heights. When police arrived at the scene, Hansen was gone, but officers observed a cut to the victim’s head and spoke to witnesses who identified Hansen. The victim was transported to the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.

Hansen was arrested later in the evening during a traffic stop. His bail was set at $100,000.
