A dramatic burst of flames from one of it's engines caused American Airlines Flight 438 to return to Dallas on Wednesday evening, landing safely with no injuries on board. The fire started shortly after take off, and the AA flight bound for Seattle took no chances. They quickly turned around and landed in Dallas, and all 139 passengers exited the plane unharmed.

The FAA says the pilot on board called in engine trouble that caused the planes compressor to stall, which produced flames from the back of one of the aircraft's engines. American Airlines says the engine itself wasn't actually on fire, and was still functioning on the Airbus 321 model plane when it touched down in Dallas.

The flights passengers where placed on a flight bound for Seattle the following morning.
