Area Teacher Put On Leave After Threatening Student

KWTX reported that a local high school teacher has been put on leave Monday, after reports of a student being threatened have circulated.

The incident involved a teacher at Bruceville-Eddy High School. Officials are investigating the allegations that have been made against the teacher.

As well as school officials investigating further into these allegations of potential threats, the Bruceville-Eddy Police Department will be further investigating into this matter as well.

The Superintendent of Bruceville-Eddy Independent School District, Richard Kilgore said in a press release, "This is a personnel matter and no additional statements regarding this issue can be made at this time."
