Summer’s Night of Art & Jazz in Downtown Temple

Discover Downtown Temple invites everyone to spend some time this Saturday evening experiencing the sights and sounds of A Summer’s Night of Art & Jazz.

This community cultural event will be held Saturday, July 28th from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at 4th Street and Central Avenue in Downtown Temple.

Enjoy live jazz music from Greg McBride and Da Jazz Band, as well as the Temple High School Jazz Combo.

Art vendors will be selling their one of a kind works, and delicious food trucks will be on site.

“Come out after the sunsets and enjoy some amazing jazz bands, beautiful art, and delicious food,” said Nancy Glover, Manager for Temple’s Convention and Visitors Bureau.

A Fast Art Contest will also be held with prizes up to $500! Artists of all ages and skill levels are welcome. However, you must register in advance and bring your own art supplies.

A mystery subject will be revealed at the event and contestants will have one hour to complete their masterpieces.
