Killeen police are investigating an apparent drive-by shooting carried out early Wednesday morning.

According to Kathleen Serie with KWTX, a driver took two shots at another vehicle on Elms Road shortly before 2:40 AM. No injuries were reported, though bullets did strike the right rear door of the victim's car.

The victim told authorities they were heading east on Elms Road when they noticed they were being followed by a car that had exited a night club parking lot in the vicinity of Elms and Fort Hood Street.

Police say the suspect vehicle fled, and they have not been able to locate the driver. Authorities say it appears the suspect and victims did not know one another.
