The identity has been released of the Temple man killed in a car accident in Troy on Friday night.

According to KWTX, Friday night Troy Police responded to a single vehicle crash off the I-35 Southbound frontage road near the 2200 block.

The officers found a 2001 white GMC Sierra pickup off the roadway. The driver was Mark Castilleja, 37, of Temple.

It seemed that Mr. Castilleja was ejected from the pickup cab and was found in the back of the bed. It looked like he wasn't wearing his seat belt.

The investigation revealed that the vehicle traveled in the right-hand lane and left the roadway. He traveled some distance before encountering a drainage culvert and flipped end over end.
