Baltimore Police Officer Charged After Biting a Man’s Testicles During a Bar Fight

A Baltimore police officer has been charged with assault after taking a bite out of something other than crime at a Cinco de Mayo party.

Corporal Michael Flaig reportedly got into a fight with another party goer in an alley behind a pub after the second man confronted Flaig about touching his female friend and roommate. During the fight, Flaig bit the man's testicles and then ran.

When police arrived, they found the victim bleeding from the groin. They later found Flaig at another bar with blood on his shirt. Flaig was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and public intoxication.

According to a statement issued by the Anne Arundel County Police Department, Flaig has been suspended and placed on paid administrative leave.
