Bell County Man Pleads Guilty to Possession of Child Pornography

Charles Warren Chambers III faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing visual depictions of sexual activity by minors.

Appearing in a federal court in Waco Thursday, Chambers pled guilty to one of a three count federal child pornography indictment relating to incidents that occurred on October 5 and 11, 2013 and February 7, 2014.

U.S. District Judge Walter S. Smith Jr. set a sentencing date of September 24 and ordered that Chambers remain in federal custody until the hearing.

In addition to jail time, Chambers faces a $250,000 fine.
