Members of the Belton Fire Department, along with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, will be out in Belton this weekend for the Annual Fill the Boot Campaign.

For more than 60 years firefighters have been lending their boots to help fuel MDA's mission to find treatments and cures for life-threatening muscle diseases. Muscular Dystrophy and other related life-threatening diseases take away a person ability to walk, move, smile, talk, and even breath.

The funds raised this weekend, and through 2015, will support MDA's life-enhancing programs, such as state of the art support groups and clinics. The money will also make MDA summer camp possible so local kids with MS can enjoy a great week at Camp for All in Burton, TX, and nearly 80 other locations nationwide.

The Fill the Boot Campaign will start Thursday, November 12th and run through Saturday, November 14th.

Fireman from Station 1 in Belton will be at the corner of  FM 93/I-35 service road on front of the McDonalds.
