Belton Lady Tigers Softball and Belton Tigers Baseball in action tonight

The Belton Lady Tigers Softball team and Belton Tigers Baseball team are both in action tonight on the campus of Belton High School in District 12-6A action.

The Lady Tigers host the Killeen Lady Roos as they celebrate Senior Night, as Bekah Alcozer, Brittany Bass, Shelby Hitt and Skylar Stewart will be honored. The Lady Tigers are 7-1 in District 12-6A play, one-half game behind Midway for first place.

The Tigers host second place Harker Heights, as Belton celebrates Military Night. The game is a pivotal district game for both teams. A win for Belton would give them a two-game lead going into the second half of district. A win by Harker Heights would tie them with the Tigers and both teams would have at least a one game lead over Waco Midway.

The Lady Tigers broadcast will start at 6:45pm this evening with Tony Adams and Ron Stewart on the call. If time permits, we will join the Tigers-Knights game in progress.
