The Belton Lady Tigers (11-4 overall, 5-1 in District 12-6A) take to the road to take on the Killeen Shoemaker Grey Wolves to start the second half of district play at Lady Grey Wolves Field. Tony Adams, Sports Editor for The Belton Journal, will have the call. starting with the pregame show at 6:50pm CT Wednesday evening on KTEM-AM 1400, ktemnews.com and on the Radio Pup App.

The last time Belton and Shoemaker got together was on a soggy tract at Lady Tiger Field following the torrential rains that plagued the area in early-March. It was a game originally scheduled for Shoemaker, but was moved to Belton following a pair of postponements.

Kaitlyn Jones, Brittany Bass, Bekah Alcozer and Bethany Edwards all had three runs batted in and Sidney Holman pitched a two-hit shutout, as the Lady Tigers beat Shoemaker 15-0 in four innings.

Holman, one of the hottest pitchers in the circle in Central Texas, has pitched two perfect games in district play and has allowed just one earned run in six district games, while her Lady Tigers' teammates offensively have outscored the district 59-5.
