The rains have ceased, but we're still dealing with the aftermath in Central Texas.

This morning, a Belton ISD bus became stuck after it ran into a sinkhole at the intersection of 9th and Beal.

Our news partner, KWTX, reports that no one was hurt, and the kids were moved to another bus. They all made it to school on time. Meanwhile, a crew was working to free the bus and get it repaired and back into service.

With all the runoff, standing water, and debris still remaining after this week's storms, it's important to be extra diligent in watching for road hazards. TxDOT reported Tuesday that debris left from receding waters shut down a portion of I-35 for several hours, as did a construction barrier that fell as a result of soaking up too much rain.

Be careful out there, Central Texas!
