They had the Big Bass Splash Tournament On Lake Sam Rayburn down in Jasper Texas over the weekend.  Three days of fishing and a chance to win a Triton Bass Boat with all the fixins!

Most of the folks in the tournament were out on the lake in boats, everybody knows that's where the big fish are. Albert Jenkins was not out there. He fished from the dock because he did not have a boat.  At the end of the tournament there was a drawing for that brand new boat.

Fred McMahon was in the running and so was Albert. While they were up there on the stage waiting to see who won, Fred learned that Albert spent the tournament fishing off the dock. And then they called the name of the boat winner and it's Fred.   Right then and there Fred becomes a bigger winner. He handed Albert the keys. He gave his brand new boat to Albert!

KJAS reported, the announcement brought people to their feet cheering. Fred posted on his Facebook that a higher power moved him to give up the boat.

"I know I made the right decision when I won the boat and then gave it to Albert Jenkins. The Holy Spirit was not only moving on that stage but it was also speaking to people in the crowd. When I left the stage and walking through the crowd I had a man stop me and he said the he had prayed a silent prayer that Albert would win the boat."

And this is what Albert said on his Facebook page about winning the boat. This was next to the picture of his brand new gift.

Nothing about the man who gave it to him, nothing about it being a truly unselfish gift from a stranger. Nothing!

Way to go Albert!
