Boil Water Notice Issued To Killeen Residents

The City of Killeen has issued a boil water notice for properties in the area bordered by Watercrest Road south to Elms Road and Cody Poe west to Clear Creek Road effective immediately according to a press released sent out by the city today.

A water line break in the area this morning necessitates a boil order. Crews are currently repairing the line, and properties in the area may be experiencing low water pressure as a result. - Press Release From The City Of Killeen

[UPDATE SEPT. 4TH] The boil water notice issued on September 1st has been lifted according to a press released from the city. Tests have been completed and the water is now safe to drink without boiling.
