KBTX reported that Bryan authorities are hard at work investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday afternoon.

The man who was shot, was a 54 year old man. The man who had been shot arrived at Bryan Fire Department Station 1 in downtown Bryan. He arrived at the fire station around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, and was rushed to CHI St. Joesph Health.

Family members reported to KBTX that his condition was unknown, but that he was in surgery at the present time for the gunshot wounds he received.

During the Bryan Police Department's investigation, they arrested Charles Dunn, 72, of Bryan. Dunn was booked into the Brazos County jail, and was hit with a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The shooting took place at the Green Hornet Bar on San Jacinto Lane near Martin Luther King Jr. Street in Bryan. The reason for the shooting is still unknown at this time, and authorities have not publicly released the name of the victim at this present time.
