Centex Man In Custody For Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child

KWTX's Matthew Ablon reported that a Central Texas man has been arrested for touching a very young girl inappropriately, and also showing her pornography as well.

Waco Police Department and the U.S. Marshals worked together to arrest Jimmy Lloyd McCollaum. McCollaum is now in McLennan County Jail on Thursday, and he is being charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.

Bonds for McCollaum are at a total of $60,000, and McCollaum was brought in after a year long investigation was administered against him.

Sargent of the Waco Police Department, W. Patrick Swanton said, "The arrest came after an investigation that started in March following a report from a girl younger than 10 who said she was touched inappropriately and shown pornography between March 2017 and March 2018."
