KWTX reported that a man from Killeen was arrested on the possession of explosives. Christoper Rodney Lee Deborde, 36, was arrested by Killeen authorities on Monday on a warrant. The warrant charged him with being in the possession of prohibited weapons /improvised explosive device (pipe bomb).

The discovery of these suspicious items found in the former home of Deborde, led to the neighborhood being evacuated for safety. Killeen Police Department said, "Deborde was in the Killeen City Jail Wednesday, awaiting transfer to the Bell County Jail."

A Bell County Constable served an eviction notice at the 4400 block of Maggie Drive, and found what they suspected to be explosive devices on July 11th.

The Fort Hood Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team came to the scene, and cleared the house of the explosive devices.
