Looking for a break from the heat? So are all these critters inside the caves at Mother Neff State Park!

Cute and cuddly creatures? Not so much.

It's still a fun experience to explore the Tonkawa Cave at Mother Neff State Park. Just make sure you brush off your back when you come out of the caves. The video above shows tons of daddy longlegs and crickets chilling in the coolness of the caves.

It's just $2 dollars for Adults to visit the park, Kids 12 and under and school groups always get in for free.

On August 12th, Mother Neff State Park will host a Meteor Shower Hike during the Perseid Meteor Shower! This night time walk is free with your paid admission to the park that day.
