The City of Temple released a statement informing everyone that comfort dogs will be making the rounds to all the Hurricane Harvey evacuee shelters in Bell County.

Lutheran Church Charities will be sending Pheobe, Abner, and Pax to spend some time with the families, which the dogs' handlers hope will have a calming effect.

The dogs from the LCC normally work charities for churches, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, and other events including disaster situations. Their job is to be adorable and help people cope. We think they're up to the task!
