A Copperas Cove student was detained for questioning Monday after a local newspaper received an email containing threats against students and staff at Copperas Cove High School.

Police were notified about the email around noon. The teen who allegedly send the message was questioned, but police said in an afternoon press release no evidence was dound that would implicate the suspect or validate any threats. However, security was increased at the school as a precaution.
