Police are looking for a man who threatened a teenage girl with a knife and demanded cash at a sandwich shop in Copperas Cove Saturday morning.

The man entered the Subway restaurant at 214 W Business HW 190 on August 15 shortly after 6 a.m., displayed the weapon, and fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. The 19-year-old clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5'7" to 5'10", weighing around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark pants, a black ball cap, and one latex glove. His face was covered by a black bandana.

Copperas Cove police are asking anyone with information about this crime to contact Crime Stoppers at (254) 547-1111 or online at www.tipsubmit.com. Those who submit information do not have to reveal their identities, and information leading to an arrest could net a cash reward of up to $1,000.
