Copperas Cove Woman Suffers 3rd Degree Burns From Laser Hair Removal

Here's a tale of caution on how you should check into any procedure before you offer up your body to try it on.

According to KWTX, Copperas Cove's Jennifer Pearson, looked forward to receiving laser hair removal treatments on her legs. But unfortunately she received it from someone who didn't know what they were doing. The end result was 3rd degree burns on her legs.

Turns out that lasers and tattoos don't mix. When you shine a laser on a tattoo it burns the tattoo thermally. For Jennifer it got worse as the burns then became infected.
