There’s a better than average chance of severe weather this weekend for Central Texas. We can only hope that we don’t experience what North Texas did this past few days.

Hail is fun…to a point. And that point is usually pea sized or smaller. It’s weirdly entertaining to see the ground covered in white in the summer. That’s as long as your vehicle is safely under cover and it’s other people who are getting hailed on.

Anything above pea, and it starts to get real. Especially if you’re caught driving in it. Or, God help us, walking in it. But what happened in North Texas recently is truly frightening.

Hail the size of softballs pelted areas. If you wonder what kind of damage that could do, wonder no longer.
