Copperas Cove police have arrested Pamela Renee Coan, who has been charged with driving while intoxicated with a child passenger. Her bond has been set at $10,000.

Officers reportedly noticed a 2009 Dodge Durango swerving on East U.S. Highway 190 around 8:40 p.m. on Monday.

When the vehicle was stopped, they found Coan driving and a six-year-old boy in the backseat.

Officers noticed the smell of alcohol, and Coan allegedly said that she had had about three shots. She later admitted to drinking vodka.

Coan performed poorly on a field sobriety test and was taken to Metroplex Hospital for a blood sample.
