Weather Cancels Weekend Plans in Downtown Temple

A couple of events scheduled in Temple this weekend have been cancelled due to bad weather.

The City of Temple announced Thursday evening that the Main Street Market/Food Truck Frenzy and the Back Alley Art Show have been cancelled.

Sherri Street, Downtown Development Coordinator, said, "Unfortunately, with these events taking place outdoors, and the threat of severe thunderstorms this weekend, we are disappointed to have to cancel these events. The safety and comfort of our patrons and vendors is most important to us, and we hope to see everyone next month."

The next Main Street Market/Food Truck Frenzy will be Saturday, March 24th. The Back Alley Art Show will be rescheduled for a date later this spring.
