Amy’s Attic Self Storage Sponsoring Furniture for Families Crafts Festival
March 4 – Temple, TX - Amy’s Attic Self Storage will hold a crafts festival on Saturday, April 16 benefitting Furniture for Families. This event is scheduled from 11:00am to 3:00pm. With a goal of collecting $2,000 for Furniture for Families, this family friendly event will offer everything from food to bounce houses for children to crafts for adults as well as a raffle for gift baskets. This is a free event to be held at Amy’s Attic Self Storage’s 800 Prospector Trail Harker Heights location.
Ms. Bethany Burkholder, Manager and event Chairwoman said “For our first Crafts Festival of 2016 we looked for a unique, community centered program that does so much for so many, and Furniture for Families was a unanimous choice of our team!” She added, “Because the festival focuses on a group like the Furniture for Families we are getting so much support from area businesses.”
Over the years Amy’s Attic Self Storage through its Amy in the Community efforts has sponsored the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Children’s Rainbow Room, Operation Phantom Support, local schools through Amy in Education and countless others.
Ms. Burkholder ended with “Not only are we helping the Furniture for Families, many of our local businesses and talented crafters will benefit as well. In fact as of today we’re 80% towards our goal of the number of crafters who are supporting us! We’re hoping all local residents and businesses will band together to support this important endeavor.”
