Celebrate Independence Day at Fort Hood
Celebrate Independence Day on Fort Hood, July 4 from 6 – 10 pm at Hood Stadium. Hood Stadium is located behind the Community Events and Bingo Center on Clear Creek Road. In addition to a DJ, two 1st Cavalry Division Bands will perform. “Warrior’s Call” covers rock-n-roll hits, and “Crossfire Brass Band” covers popular music. There will also be various vendors with food and drink for sale. Capping off the day’s activities will be a 30-minute fireworks display choreographed to the tunes of patriotic music. This event is free and open to the public.

Prohibited items: explosive weapons, firearms, knives, clubs, brass knuckles, glass containers (except baby bottles), pets, alcohol and fireworks. Permitted items: strollers, small coolers (for baby formula), camelbacks (will be searched), umbrellas, blankets, lawn chairs and small wagons.
