Temple's Railroad & Heritage Museum will host an exciting opening night gala event to celebrate the installation of the museum’s latest exhibit, America’s Road: The Journey of Route 66, on Friday, September 19th at 6:00 p.m.

The grand opening event will feature an evening full of nostalgia, food, entertainment and a look back on the rich history that was “The Main Street of America”.

Guests will be treated to a private preview of the Route 66 exhibit, a variety of food and beer selections made famous along the historic highway, and a collection of classic cars displayed along Avenue B outside of the Depot. The Touch of Class Band will take the stage and take you back to yesteryear by playing the songs you love from the 50's and 60's! The event will also feature a live and silent auction as well as door prizes to be given away throughout the night.

6:30pm – Dinner and Bidding Opens for Silent Auction

7:30pm – Exhibit Opening

8:30pm – Live Auction
