All girls and boys are invited to welcome Santa Claus to the Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum Saturday, December 6th at 10:00 a.m.  He is coming in by train!

 

Kids can talk to Santa and take pictures with him.  While waiting to see Santa Claus, kids can listen to holiday story time and make Christmas ornaments.

 

Children can also send a telegram to Santa’s chief elf at the North Pole to remind Santa of their wishes once he gets home. Barrel train and handcar rides will also be available, weather permitting.

 

There will be Christmas carols by members of the Chisholm Trail Chorus and a performance by the Schade Tree Band.

 

During the event, visitors can also visit the museum exhibits free of charge. The museum’s special traveling exhibit, “America’s Road: The Journey of Route 66” will be on display, along with updated permanent exhibits at the museum.

 

Santa at the Depot is a free event from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Admission to the Railroad and Heritage Museum will be free during this time.

 

The museum is located in the Santa Fe Depot at 315 West Avenue B in downtown Temple.
