Could the brutal winter weather hammering much of the United States cause a schedule change for or even shut down the NFL's first outdoor Super Bowl in the Northeast?

If heavy snows and deep cold temperatures persist, could the big game be moved to Friday, January 31st or Monday, February 3?

Not so, say NFL officials. Plans are in place to make the experience as comfortable as possible for the estamated 78,000 fans set to attend.

The Super Bowl is currently scheduled to take place Sunday, February 2 starting at 5:30 PM on FOX. The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Denver Bronco's at MetLife Stadium inEast Rutherford, New Jersey.
