KCENTV is reporting fire burned through about 80 acres of land in Mood on Wednesday. According to KCEN, the fire started around 2 PM when an individual was welding a pipe fence. It's not clear exactly how the fire started, but 15 agencies responded to help put out the blaze.

Five houses near the fire were evacuated after winds blew the flames within 30 feet of the homes. One cargo trailer was reported lost in the fire.

Firefighters had the blaze back under control around 4 PM.
