Fort Hood Soldier Charged With Murder

A Fort Hood soldier was charged with murder Sunday.

26-year-old Sgt. Brett Marvin Wessel with the 1st Cavalry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team was taken into custody after a incident that occurred early Sunday morning. Fort Hood officials are not releasing any information about the incident or the victim, but have confirmed that Wessel was booked into Bell County Jail on Sunday.
