The 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea will feature a Fort Hood Soldier as part of the 4-man bobsled competition coming Friday and Saturday.

2018 marks is Chris Fogt's third trip to the Olympic games. He is stationed at Fort Hood as part of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division. He was part of the 2010 games in Vancouver, and the 2014 games in Sochi. Fogt told the Killeen Daily Herald that army soldiers often do well in team events as army life means being a part of a team from day 1.

Best of luck to the U.S. Soldiers Bobsled team! You can watch the events beginning at 6:30 PM Friday. The events continue on Saturday with the medal presentation around 7:30 PM on Saturday.
