Sgt. 1st Class Gregory McQueen was sentenced Thursday for his role in a Fort Hood prostitution ring.

McQueen, once head of a sexual assault prevention program on post, pleaded guilty Wednesday to 15 charges stemming from the investigation of a prostitution ring he ran, which involved pressuring financially troubled female soldiers into having sex with men for money. He did not plead guilty to additional charges of sexual assault, but was found guilty Thursday of one of those charges.

McQueen was sentenced to 24 months confinement. He will be demoted to the rank of E-1, be given a dishonorable discharge, and forfeit pay and benefits. He will be held in the Bell County Jail until he can be assigned to a military prison.

McQueen had faced a maximum sentence of 33 years.
