Free Car Seat Safety Check-up At Dodge Country

On Saturday June 25th from Noon until 2:00 pm, Dodge Country in Killeen will host a child car seat and booster seat check-up event. The event is free to everyone with small children that still require a safety seat.

The event will be conducted by KidSafe, a program of the Regional Trauma Services from Hillcrest Medical Center, Baylor Scott and White.  The trained volunteers will check each safety seat to be sure it meets all requirements, is secured, and is properly fitting the child.  Four out of five safety seats are used incorrectly. You can also receive information on how to choose the right seat, properly secure your child, properly secure the seat, or know if your child needs to graduate to a booster seat.
