The Harker Heights Fire Department is teaming up with the Harker Heights Lions Club to donate Thanksgiving food baskets to residents of Harker Heights that are in need. Starting November 2nd through November 6th and November 9th through November 13th, you can stop by the Harker Heights Fire Department at 401 Indian Trail between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm ONLY to apply. You MUST be a RESIDENT of Harker Heights in order to apply. You will also need to bring proof of residency, proof of income and other resources, a Texas driver's license or I.D., birth certificates and social security cards for all those listed on your application. No applications will be taken on November 11th due to Veteran's Day.


Baskets can then be picked up on Monday November 23rd at the Harker Heights Central Fire Station at 401 Indian Trail from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Monetary donations to help this program will also be gladly accepted. For more information contact the Harker Heights Fire Department at (254) 699-2688.
