Make sure y'all are prepared for the heat whenever you decide to take that walk outdoors today. According to our news partner,KWTX, there is a heat advisory for Bell, McLennan, and Milam counties.

The highs in these counties are expected to range from highs of 95 to 99 degrees. The heat index in these counties is expected to have it feeling like it's 105 to 108 degrees.

If you are in the heat without any water or some type of shade, you could be at risk for possible heat exhaustion. If you do have to venture out into the heat, make sure you are very hydrated and wear loose clothing. The watch will last until 6 p.m. central time.
