Highway 84 Motorcycle Wreck

KWTX's Neal Klaeser reported that the Woodway Police Department was hard at work Tuesday morning after a motorcycle wreck happened on Highway 84.

The wreck took place around 8:30 a.m., on Tuesday. Highway 84 where the wreck occurred at Texas Central Parkway.

The rider of the motorcycle, was attempting to merge into the left lane of the highway to avoid a vehicle on the eastbound highway.

The rider who hasn't been identified to the public at this time, had to be taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center for his injuries.

The rider avoided the vehicle, but fell off his Harley Davidson motorcycle which led to is injuries. The rider slid about 250 feet on the highway. Before being taken to the hospital, the rider was alert and aware of his surroundings.
